Daily poem – Barking lad

Barking Lad

Rapped in plastic and feeling sticky

Wished on dreaming dancing strangers

Flap on a black mack while its raining

River of pretensions a bridge of season

A grey suit for trumpet call

Sentiment sure to pleasure

Crying form filler lists equalities

A hand on desk to wipe away the tears

Crinkle cut sandwich gives ulcers for salt mines

Dug from distance, when petrol was cheap

Catch the onion jar

Appeal to catch some wasps in

Strung out tension to keep the ball bouncing

Over the net to border the picture

Beaten ball boy collapsed with outsiders

A judge in a parapet is stretched on top
