Daily poem – Parting

Parting

Pursed lips pouting for sad tears,

Lost lovers dreams, buzzing with bees

Licking honey pollen, dew for release

Match heart strings to chords of striking

Bells piercing retinue of chilled listening

Trumpet blow needs for safety railing

Slim blue light shines in broken façade

Balls are broken, deluded illusion no chance of recovery

Lusting on the doorstep to misery

Caught in time

Chains adjusted to suit paraphernalia

Pretty white dress pressed against the wall

Tried to forget

When all is said and done.
