Daily Poem – Mess up

Mess up

Partly ripped up reason, teasing rumble of rubber gum gapped tension

Squeaked blackboard scratching, nails split bruising

Polystyrene pushing never disposing, exposing pressure on need

Obscene structural objection, pick and mix tick tock teacher

Rose hips pricked in bleeding jelly, quelled in cream of tartar

Wicked tart tasting bitter sweet entreating power crazed meter measure

Parked in yellow, a red card marker, built as a shocker

Camera lies at an angle and colours

A flick on switch answer

No lever can lift the purpose

Slim chance of survival

What is it to last
