Poem of the day — Walls and Windows

Walls and Windows

Here there and everywhere, a scary tearing paper trail

Desk dripping red receding, lasting discontent

A brisk canter on the moors, crisp tingle of windy chill

On chin and nostrils bare

Charging into mirrors, reflecting trust, ignoring misgivings

River bank broken its defences useless

The tide is ravenous in devouring and reclaiming

Back to the source a particle grounding

Mashed up mud stuck on the landing

Squeeze a sponge of hurt memories

Dry from the frozen pond dripping

Scrape off with paint scraping shining metal

A chisel broken

Sanded and sawn

Sculpture at an end
