Poem of the Day — Drunk by Mischief

LAST ONE OF THE MONTH

Drunk by Mischief

Slipped silently by dark alley entrance

A copper jangles trembling to fulfil the candle lit dinner

More said than cares to be forgotten

In tears, the dress is torn

Grieving and tempted by anger

A spirit of many licked up in salt

Calmed for now by sleeping silent

A roar from the torment at bay for the present

Leave the eloquence to the master of ceremonies

Trap the beast in a dry existence

Craft a life with closed doors

Not worth the agony

One day however

Crush the illusion

One life

To clear down spent fortune

And matter
