Daily Poem — More Mistakes

More Mistakes

Crumpled up wages slip by the wayside

Filling up the drain with blocked and bloody noses

Smelling a story, a jumped up gangster movie

A slide shot article in brittle tones

Dealing ditch filled tracking riddles for witches

To stir into discrimination, beaten to a thrilling sensation

A stir of nervous endings

Spine shivering delight in celebration

Of reasons to live out a question

An answer bereft of seasons

Falling flowers catch the breeze and flutter

Like butterfly dreams and caterpillar comfort

Eating the birds that circle the sweet stall

Waiting for sticky bits to see them through winter

Frozen in time

Warmed to the moment

Declining

Sunshine, sand and

Solitude
