Poem of the Day — Stiff Crimson

Stiff Crimson

Conception of size in question, as big as you think

Latched onto a trial an occasion, a guttural outburst

A rasping bellow of gasping delight

A thrust forward in deep, out of sight

Snug and warm under the covers

Able to squeeze the bottle, hot the toes

Cramped up explosion exposing frustration

Then rest caressed

Another day to follow, to wait as it will rise again

Or perhaps it won’t

Still water not fizzy to quench the hoarse chest

Reverberating in unison

With the party lovers nightcap

A Bloody Mary with ice

Cream tart to add some spice

Begin again

Enjoy life
