Poem of the Day — Pent up Resistance

Pent up Resistance

Warm breath strokes soft skin,

Raging storms bellow inside.

Wavering conviction; waning desire

Breaking frown, gritting teeth

Best foot forward, to save a fall.

Winch up the mast, to wet the appetite

Curvy lines entice the stop watch

A craving image leaps from the supplement

Springtime is growing

Speed up the gathering

Roots settled ready for the new life to show

Grey hair shine in sympathy

For the whimpering history of passing glory

Grain brown and stained

A bruising testament to tomorrow

Fallen hero

A grave diggers day

A sower of seeds to follow
