Poem of the Day — Cold System

Cold System

Ringed in placards, drunk in whiplash emotion

Partly Shaded lamp light jaded

In real-time exclusion

Lost in wished illusions.

Dark and treacherous

Bordered on my memories

Clasped in hands, cupped with fury

Broken switch, I feel disconnected

Merely affected by drifting sand waves

Salted lightly, to wet my flavour.

Jagged rage flaming

Stories untold complaining

My jaw dropping significance

As time flows

And life goes.

I’m trapped in seamless cracks

Stopping the day that never started

A brisk blowing revenue

Shining, swimming in seas uncharted

Fresh twinkling disaster dealt and delivered

Responded
