Scent Alert
Tickle your fancy man, a whiff of contention

An argument reeling, swinging sling shots at all that are passing,

A return to another life; the one with difficult children

Beaten by proximity

Extremities chilled by gruelling wind

A north facing passion

A little shrivelling

Chilling sea salt smacks on the lips

Turns the inside blue

A vision of, “I am dying”

Cold as blood frozen in hardening artery

Congeals like yesterdays custard

A hard skin to hold in the flow of pain

A stained ripped soul, reverberating with temporary measures.
I go to the party

To stand in the the kitchen

I drink to the lost one; not that I ever found them

They were lost in my loneliness

Depressed so long that it’s normal

A small self, just interested in my own company

Creaking willow bends in the Autumn sunshine

A beauty

A continuum

A reason to wait for some sunshine.
