Poem of the Day – Tread Meaning

Tread Meaning

Quicksand sucking the life blood from rolls of pink folding skin

With eyes as white as clematis, hanging from a dew driven window pane.

Romance clipped like a wing of a butterfly

Railings to keep out snatchers

Banter seems to be a word for bullying

A long lasting drenched tissue soaks up the avarice

More than whisky to kill the pain in such a delicate reflection

Best be fixed on completing a fresh shirt to be cast aside

Pictures of mind snapping in two, like a fresh fried crisp bread

Spread with bookmarks to calibrate the following composition

We are dreaming

In unison

What will happen when the curtain is finally drawn
