Poem of the Day – By Leave

Bye Leave

Lost in cool streams;

Leaves crumpled

Muscles dried and torn

China glass shining eyes

Pester ground powder, pigment resonating

Absent passed tomorrow

Digging up grains of stories

Ignoring the details

Treasure innocent smiling outcomes

A gradual gathering slept in feathers

gathering tears from basking in vast minds

Falling in holes blind with habits

Tread carefully to avoid mine fields

Bargain stripped of assets

Anchors drift from moorings

Float in lapping silver grey waves

A hand shake stolen

Still,

Accept mystery and openly display

Pour down brown warm insipid liquid

Parking in shadows of built up arena

Spread about to see another

Gasp

Breathe

Deep and rattling
