Poem of the Day — Wet

Shining white shadows twisting reflected light

Black flashes bend red blushes

Cheeks blanched by the bitter wind

Senses wished on and broken

Back to the first place when my seat was taken

The one on the far side

It was meant for a troubled mind

Freedom from crushing a given moment

A blistering belief

Relief from tense and recurring boredom

Otherwise I ponder the sealed message

Twinkling in the ocean, the depths of desire

Wire snapped no longer able to connect

The fuse with the current

Seen to be rising

No dice to be weighted

Decision is made with no opposition

The position will not change

A blast of the gun shatters the already cracked windscreen

The rain is coming in

I am sinking
