Poem of the Day – Granite Start

Granite Start

Cracked in stubborn, creased starched collar

Around the neck

A drive

Hard driving, drinking

A sinking feeling just wheeling and dealing

A, such a noise cavernous projectile vision

Smarting from whips to the gestured manipulations

Stars struck by lightning

Trees split asunder

A blunder to be sandwiched in popular blood bank fillers

Instillers of duty bound biographies

Books to bind weed intervention

A slap on the tickle

Collusion with the hammer and sickle

No cows coming home tonight
