Poem of the Day – Pale Presence

Pale Presence

Charcoal dreams etched on park bench paper cranes

Stained purple souls trembling

Assembling plagues of passion

No more mind games: emotional oppression

Bicycle climate pedalled in tandem; climbing to dizzy heights

Blown away by sweet gentle juxtapositions

Rich in senses

Fences raised to keep out the broken friendships

No more than rust before the wind

An end to torment

Vent anger and freeze in cold water

Capture breath in glass houses

Feather your bed to ease the tension

A mention in the party speech

Teach the others to file a group question

Friction given space
