Poem of the Day – Sprayed Intense

Sprayed Intense

Blown up balloons; open salutations; bending low in separate dreams

Schemes on settees with warm squeezing hands

Plans for further involvement;

Frozen in pyjamas

The ones with strings attached.

Clawing window panes; to scratch an idea.

Appear captivated by perfumed rooms.

Observing fashionable compliments:

Rosy lips

Sipping cocktails and spinning

A perfect story

A glacier of Glory

Trips involving buses:

Slips and trips in bar room excesses

Messes on the pavement sticking to pants

Seats trodden in weighted boots

Shooting a fine diamond shaped dice

Window with mist rising

Despising a lonely cold heart

Just the start of yet another argument

All absent

A forgone conclusion.
